Hey Lim =).

I am wondering which of the 5 monitors in Freesync tournament is the best so far? I am deciding between LG 24GM79G, Viewsonic XG2401 or Acer XF240H - which you haven't review yet.
Would really appreciate your opinion on this decision.

The LG and the Viewsonic. The Acer also is very good with a tiny bit worse blacks + worse build quality + reflections at the inner panel frame. Otherwise also very good gamma settings and overall image quality for a TN

Your welcome. If you want use motion blur reduction (backlight scanning aka ULMB), then only the LG has this feature (which is a bit worse than ULMB for example) but you cannot use Freesync while enable this feature, so I think the Viewsonic is the better choice for you

How about if i would be buying a 1440p monitor? Which one would you prefer, i might invest in the future with the monitor =)

I do not like current WQHD TN panels

Asus PG278QR is the best but with a very aggressive matte panel coating
Dell S2617 also is very good in general, but with huge color banding issues (https://www.limscave.com/dell-s2716dg)

Cheers Lim. A bit out of my budget so i went for the LG 24gm79. Getting it next week. Was 70€ cheaper than Viewsonic.

This Viewsonic one as long as you do not need backlight scanning. Otherwise the LG but you should keep in mind that many ppl reported black crush issues on the LG + that the backlight scanning on the LG is not as good as ULMB as mentioned in the LG review
